Recovering Microfilm—If your collections include microfilm, your disaster plan should contain contact information for a microfilm processor. Microfilm rolls need to be rewashed and dried by a commercial company within 48 hours. Once the microfilm has been returned, each roll should be inspected to verify that the processing was done properly.
